flash projector ownership
When a Macromedia Flash (fla) or Director file is compiled to a projector (exe) on a Mac or a PC the copyrights of this projector are automatic set to Macromedia. The only thing I ever discovered about this was a big company that paid for an application made in Director but discovered it was not theirs (it was copyrighted to Macromedia).
The screenshots below show how you can see whose property a piece of software is. PC right mouseclick> properties> version tab.
The copyright is an issue here, because it actually means that Macromedia can take whatever they don't like out of circulation.
There are several applications that can edit the copyright setting. My experience is that a freeware program called reshacker can do the job.
